Is My Health App Safe?

Privacy policy

This site reviews other apps' privacy practices, so it would be strange to cut corners on our own. Here is exactly what happens when you visit ismyhealthappsafe.com — in plain language.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, no comments, no newsletters, no cookies that require a consent banner, and no third-party advertising or tracking scripts.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted in the EU. Plausible does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not build cross-site profiles. What we see is aggregate: how many people visited a page, roughly where in the world they came from (country level), and which site referred them. We cannot see individual visitors and we do not try to.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps short-lived operational logs (IP addresses, request timing) for security and abuse prevention, as any web host does. We do not access or analyse those logs.

Links to other sites

We link to third-party sites — the apps we review, their privacy policies, news coverage, regulatory filings, and to cirdia.com. We do not use link-tracking redirects or UTM tagging, and we do not know when you click out. Once you leave this site, the third party's own privacy practices apply. That is, broadly, the reason this site exists.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any substantive way, the change will be reflected on this page. The current version is the authoritative one.

Contact

Questions or corrections about this policy, or about anything else on the site, are welcome. This site is single-author and opinionated but we care about being factually right.
